Reading is very interesting.  You can learn a lot from reading.  I think if you start off reading easy books then read harder read big you will get smart.  If you read you have something to do.  You  can always read books if you are bored any  time. Books can bring out emotions and feelings .  You can see books everywhere, in shops, in Town.  I love to read books. Books can give you a source of information.  We can read books from the library to get books out to learn all the new big words,  the spellings and meanings. We can read big dictionaries to get lots of information  and spelling.  I  love books. We can  learn lots from books. Books are AWESOME!

POETRY by ELLA LEELAND HARRY MEGAN

 In poetry we do colouring in and we do drawing.
In poetry it rhymes.  I enjoy colouring in.
In poetry we have to glue to pages together so we can  use felt.
In poetry we do doublepage spreads and we have to do a drawing that goes with the poem.
We do poetry in a  book  that only have a lot of poems.
In our poetry we do a1 quality and do nice work.
In Rm 5 we have an option of doing a content or not.

We like to draw freaky fish.
We know what adaptation is.
We learned about the zones.
We learnt how fish survive.
We found out what fish eat.
We made our own subs.
We learnt how scientists get down to the bottom of the sea.

Swimming (Liam, Jack, Hikaru)

We have been swimming, backstroke, freestyleand breaststroke(Jack)

I  think swimming is fun and good exercise(Hikaru)  

We  have  been  learning to use the correct method for swimming (Liam) 

We have learnt to swim a length of the pool correctly(Jack)  We  have been doing swimming sports.   We have done lengths and widths.   The lengths were for the really good swimmers and the widths were for people who can't swim a length(Hikaru) 

Swimming sports works by having a competition against other school people. It's all about fun.

GAMES BY BEN, CHRIS AND EMMA

There are inside and outside games.
We play Keeper of the Key when you run round in circles with the key in your hand.
We also play Scattergories when we write as much as we can with any letter in ten minutes   The group who gets the most points gets 400 points for their group.
We play Scatterball when someone throws the ball and the other team tries to catch it before the other team gets back.  At syndicate sports we play T play  where we get the metal bat,  hit the ball with it and run with it to a base and the other team has to get the ball in time.
