My name is Shania . I have 2 cats and 7 kittins . My family members are, Gen,Zion,Kingi,Jake,Rhyse,Mum,Dad and I . I go to Riwaka school . My teacher is Joy Bryant. My best friend is Emily Kelly.My favourite sport is netball . My position in netball is GS . My favourite colour is blue .

CAITLYN'S DIARY

My name is Caitlyn.  I have a pet cat called Casper.  I have a sister Brianna, a brother Cameron and a Mum and Dad.  I like dancing Netball and swimming. I go to Riwaka school my teacher is Mrs Bryant. I have lots of friends Shania , Megen , Tate, Morag, Anabelle ,Tori, Ashely, Emily and Jade. My class room is room five.  I am doing a dancing contest on Saturday Tuesday and Wednesday. My favourite colour is pink.

Riwaka's Fun Day

Jump Rope for heart!

In room 5 for Jump Rope For Heart we put together almost all the skipping things. Like normal or criss cross and all of us picked one we really liked. I really liked the buddy one which I did with Morag which was the first people to do it then the side swing. People did their one and then the criss cross feet people did theirs. Then the criss crossing without feet. Then the big ropes came out and every one from room 5 jumped in the big rope which we all had to run in and out and Megan, Ashlee which was me, Morag and Caitlyn jumped 3 times all at the same time then ran. With the music called I've got a feeling by the Black Eyed Peas.

Welcome to the new buildings. The old buildings are being replaced with a new facility designed by John Davidson with an input from Group Special Education advisers and school teacher aides. The money came from Ministry of Education. As well as a storage area and a new bathroom to give students more privacy, teachers, girls and boys. Builders have been working all through school holidays.

MY DIARY BY MORAG.

Hi I am Morag. I have lots of pets such as : a dog, fish, Guinea pigs, a cat, a bird and pigeons but they live all over the bay. I live at Stephens Bay. In blogging I have learnt how to write a post, put a photo into a diary a then write underneath the photo like the diary I'm writing at the moment. We have made a clock. I made a clock that has a girl shape and is coloured like a girl would dress like. Ashlee and I did a multiple digraph with photos of the new building at Riwaka school. We made slide shows of the jump rope at school. That was the funnest. We put music and changing sliding. I have had so much fun here at blogging. When it was the day that blogging was on I would jump for joy because it was so much fun. If I had a wishing machine I would wish that I could do blogging every day for a whole century. That's how much I like doing blogging. Thank you so much Mr Bailey for teaching us these skills and thank you Mrs Bryant for choosing us.

I am 10 years old. I like to play soccer. I have a sister. I live in Motueka.

So far in blogging I have learnt:

4. to write first post

5. to get photos from camera to put on iphoto.

We have now done this post about us.

we have also learnt how to get a clock and edit pictures using fireworks we put captions.

Fun part is when we put a slideshow in our blog.

It was fun learning stuff on the computer and making a blog I really enjoyed doing a blog. I hope I can do it again with Mr Bailey.

Hi I'm Ashlee and I am 9 almost 10 I have a pet called Lulu. My favourite hobby is netball because I like working as a team. I love the colour pink. I live in Motueka at 25 Glenaven drive.

6.We have made clocks I made a pig clock and the hands are on its nose.

7.Morag and I made a multiple digraph whith photos of the new buildings at Riwaka School.

8.We made a slid show about Jump Rope For Heart in our blog.

I thought about blogging was that every tuesday I always say ''yay its the day to go blogging''.Blogging was very fun I have learnt so much that I almost know everything on my computer now.Thank you Mr Bailey for all your help.

We have also learnt how to put a clock on the blog and edit pictures using fireworks. We put captions.

The best thing we did was making slideshows.

Blogging is awesome. You learn heaps of new stuff on the computer. You learn how to make a blog. You can choose what to do for your topic and Mr Bailey helps you if you get stuck with anything.

This is kitty kat wearing a frog suit and is VERY VERY VERY cute. Its favourite animal of course is a FROG. It likes to go to the pond and see the fish. It is one of my favourite animals too. I picked this photo because it was the first one I saw that was very cute.

These kids like to play soccer like us.	This stadium is in Johannesberg and is going to be used in the 2010 cup opening match and final. It can hold 80,000 people

I learnt to get photos off the internet, put them in a folder and put them from that folder into a table using codes.

OUR ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND

In our adventure playground we have 2 slides blue and yellow.  We have 4 tire swings, monkey bars a flying fox , firemans pole, ladders a wooden bridge and a tunnel swing. It is approx 50 meters long and ten meters wide and the girth is about 120 meters and  you have to be in room nine or higher to go on it.

THE KAURI

For a long time Riwaka school has been very lucky to have a Kauri tree in the school grounds.  It has green rounded diamond shape leaves, pine cones, bendy branches and is really tall.  I say its really cool.  Its amazing and old.
